Writing the Evaluation

You will be starting this next week, so I have asked you to sign up for Prezi over the weekend and have a bit of a go at it before I see you on Tuesday.  Here are the examples I showed you in class today:

Music Publication

Today, we looked at two publishing houses: IPC and Bauer Media.  You need to decide which house to take your magazine and explain your reasoning.  If you are still unsure, the websites are always worth a look!  This will be helpful in your planning and research, as well as relevant to your final evaluation.

To date...

Since I saw you last (Friday)  you should have:

• completed your drafts and posted them
• completed your photo shoot planning sheets and posted them
• completed at least one photo shoot

Today, I would like you to post your evidence!  Choose approximately 10 photos, a mix of good and bad.  Discuss why you either a) like the photo, or b) have decided not to use it.  Once this is done, you should start on your production.

Preliminary Task DUE

Thank you to all who have posted your preliminary tasks.  Just reminding those that haven't - they're due TODAY.  I am marking you on time management...

I handed out a 'checklist' for the production blog today.  Keep it handy, it has a lot of ideas for posts that will help to ensure you achieve the highest marks possible.

Research

You should have a picture of your TAPE analysis on your blog.  Please include a brief explanation of WHAT YOU LEARNT from doing this.  Are there any ideas that you might use in your own work?
You also need to provide an analysis of a contents page.  You've been given prompt questions.  This is due 22 January.
